A spectacular Elvis event is being held to celebrate what would have been the King’s 80th birthday and to help make a Hastings youngster’s dream of having a hydrotherapy pool to ease painful joints come true.

The Elvis All Day Spectacular, to be held this Sunday (January 18) at Azur, Marina, St Leonards on Sea, at 2.30pm. showcases four international award-winning Elvis Tribute Artists.

The event is sponsored by Azur, Vivien of Holloway and The White Rock Hotel, in aid of ‘Jake’s Splash of Delight’ and supported by Hastings Round Table.

Jake Davis, 23, has cerebral palsy and suffers with painful leg cramps and stiff joints. His pain is relieved with twice daily physio sessions, which in themselves are painful and stressful. Jake’s mum Becky says a hydrotherapy pool would offer pain free physio and improve the quality of his life and she has started a campaign to raise the £26,000 needed to convert the family garage.
