Police arrest wanted man from Shoreham in Devon

A Shoreham man, who was sought by police, has been found one week after a public appeal.

Sussex Police released an image of 31-year-old scaffolder Billy Howlett last week, as part of an investigation into ‘threats and an assault’.

In an update on Thursday, June 8, a police spokesperson said: “A man who officers wished to speak with in connection with threats and assault has been located.

“Police had appealed for the whereabouts of 31-year-old Billy Howlett. He was arrested in Devon and remains in police custody at this time.
