Film fun in Shoreham for Queen's birthday

Hide Ad“Tesco donated gift tokens, which we used for sparkling wine and a birthday cake.
“We have a few over-90s who attend the café weekly, so it’s nothing new for us to celebrate a 90th.”
The party also include viewing a DVD about the Queen’s life, which everyone enjoyed, despite a few technical hitches.
Ann added: “A lot of the DVD on the Queen’s life was in black and white and just like the good old days of the cinema, it kept cutting out, much to everyone’s amusement.”

Hide AdSouthlanders Community Café is based at Milward Court, in Wilmot Road. It is run by a group of residents from the Southlands Ward who want to make a difference in the neighbourhood.
It is open Monday 9am to midday and Friday 10.30am to 12.30pm, to include a free internet café area. There is also an exercise session on Fridays, 9.30am to 10.30am, and a Friday Lunch Club from 12.30pm to 2pm.
