Pupils from a school in Horsham welcomed back a face from the past last week who helped the children cook up some tasty treats.

Year 4 students at Arunside School, in Blackbridge Lane, gave a warm reception to former pupil Craig Goldsmith as he returned to the school to teach the children a few tips about cooking as well as what meals they can create to stay healthy.

Craig, who works as the head chef for The Chequers Inn, in Rowhook, agreed to come and make some mouth-watering meals with the children as part of the school’s focus on healthy eating and the New Primary Curriculum’s emphasis on learning a wider range of life skills.
