Google Street View cars spotted in Worthing
The Herald has received numerous reports from readers who have seen what they believe to be Google Street View cars, in the town centre and East Worthing.
Today (Tuesday, March 31) it was seen in Goring Street, Goring-by-sea, Bulkington Avenue and around Tarring.

Hide AdJon Burn emailed the Herald after seeing this story as he saw the car on Friday, March 20.
He said: "Saw it going past the Aquarena on Friday morning.
"A black Astra with the column camera on the roof - pretty distinctive."
Google's view
A Google spokesman would neither confirm or deny the vehicles are filming in Worthing, as part of the company's project to show 360 degree street-level views of 25 towns and cities across Britain.

Hide AdHowever, the spokesman said any successful filming carried out at this time will not appear on the internet for another five or six months.
The British version of Google Maps Street View was launched on Thursday, March 19, and prompted calls to shut it down from lobby group Privacy International.
