Littlehampton’s Michaela take the plunge – from 10,000ft
The 23-year-old was taking part in a sponsored skydive to raise £700 for charity Carers Trust UK, which has an office in Climping.
Michaela, an adviser at the Chichester Britannia, which is part of the Co-operative Banking Group, reached speeds of 120mph during her free fall over the Salisbury plain.
She said: “It feels unreal to think I’ve done it now.

“The instructors were fantastic and kept me calm throughout the flight and skydive.
“The branch, family and friends came out to support me on the day. It’s great to know that so many people were behind me, even if they were two miles below me.”
The Co-operative Group aims to raise £5million for Carers Trust during 2013.
The money raised will enable the charity to provide breaks, information, advice, support and services for thousands of young carers nationwide.
