MP IN ARCTIC TRIP WITH DAVID CAMERON
Greg journeyed by dog sled close to the North Pole last week to look at the melting Arctic ice cap with opposition leader David Cameron and experts from the World Wildlife Fund.
Speaking to local Conservatives at a St. George's Day dinner at the weekend, Greg said: 'We have a shared responsibility to tackle climate change.

Hide Ad'Local and national Government, business, the voluntary sector, families and individuals must all play a part.
'Politicians must also realise that the impact of their decisions will last vastly longer than the lifetime of any one government or political leader.'
Greg continued: 'We need to sign up to genuine long term action.
'I saw for myself open sea where there used to be thick ice and the glacier we visited had shrunk dramatically in just the last few years.

Hide Ad'I was lucky to visit such a remote and beautiful part of the world but here was a very serious message underlying the trip.'
He concluded: 'Tackling climate change is a key part of the Conservative Party's vision to lead a new green revolution in the UK.
'I want to recapture climate change from the pessimists.'
