Museum joins Littlehampton Bonfire fun
The museum, in Church Street, is holding a special exhibition of some of the event’s more colourful characters during its 62-year history.
All the Tudor-style dresses and regalia, worn by the late Dorothy Clevitt, are on proud display. Dorothy had been chairman of the Littlehampton Bonfire Society for more than 30 years.

But only now have museum staff decided to reveal their latest items to the town’s residents.
“This is such an exciting time of year”, said councillor Malcolm Belchamber, chairman of the Littlehampton Town Council community resources committee. “Dorothy Clevitt was a true champion of the town, and it is a wonderful sight to see her costumes on display.”
