New dialysis facilities at Bognor hospital
Up to 68 individuals at a time can be treated in the Springfield dialysis unit at the town's war memorial hospital.
The unit has been created in the former Richard Hotham unit in the hospital's grounds thanks to 157,000 from the Friends of the hospital.

Hide AdThe Friends' support builds on their backing which enabled the hospital's original and much smaller dialysis unit to open more than ten years ago.
But the growing number of renal patients around West Sussex meant more and more demand for dialysis.
This entailed a three-times-a-week journey to Portsmouth for some patients.
West Sussex Primary Care Trust has been working closely with Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust and the Friends to provide the new facilities and improve the quality of life for renal patients requiring dialysis.

Hide AdCarol Gareze, the managing director of provider services at West Sussex PCT, said: "West Sussex Primary Care Trust is committed to providing care closer to people's homes, and this exciting service development allows more patients to receive their treatment locally."
As well as more treatment space, there is also extra clinic space for the renal consultants and their teams to see patients locally.
The unit is a satellite service of the Wessex Renal and Transplant Unit at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth.
