No flight for 16 men who start arguing in Gatwick

The party was the largest Gatwick Police dealt with during its summer crackdown on disruptive passengers.
Sergeant Darren Taylor tweeted: “Largest party refused carriage... 16 males who decided to start having an argument before they even boarded #really”

Hide AdOfficers dealt with 118 incidents from June to September as part of Operation Disrupt, which ended today (Monday September 28).
Sgt Taylor tweeted: “The main offence that passengers for at LGW ...you got it... being drunk and disorderly #norealsurprise
“Other offences recorded were Threats to Kill, Public Order, Interfering with Cabin Crew and drunk onboard an aircraft
He said 80 passengers were refused carriage or offloaded.
Twenty-six were arrested for their behaviour either at the gate or onboard.
