Tracy Brook was inspired to raise funds for Beyond Ourselves after seeing the charity’s work first-hand when she accompanied lower sixth pupils from Cranleigh School on a trip to Zambia, alongside husband Neil who is headteacher at Cranleigh Prep School.
She originally intended to run 2,000 miles but increased her target and completed the challenge on new year’s eve.

Hide AdEmma Reid from Cranleigh Prep School said: “We are in awe of Mrs Brooks, not only for completing her 2,020 miles, but also for significantly exceeding her original fundraising target.
“She’s now raised an amazing £2,385.”
Tracy completed the fundraiser despite coronavirus restrictions meaning she couldn’t participate in races, and after having six weeks off following an operation at the start of the year.
