Family run local firm 1st Choice Inflatables erected the giant festive inflatable near their Bluebell Farm base at Junction Road Staplecross, with the aim of bringing some cheer.
Organisers of the Westfield Christmas Lights approached the firm to ask if they would be happy to link it to their Just Giving appeal for the hospice.

Hide AdRachel Pritchard explained: “Since 2005 Westfield has raised over £93,000 and we were hoping to reach their target of £100,000 this year. The Westfield lights can’t go ahead this year due to Covid Which obviously means the hospice have lost out on money.
“So residents have set up a Just Giving page for people to make donations.
“Westfield Christmas lights approached the owner of Ist Choice Inflatables and asked if he would affiliate the giant Santa with the Just Giving page and he kindly agreed.
“This year he was going to supply a 30ft blowup Santa For resident Ken Munday’s Garden, for the Westfield Lights.

“We would also like to thank Jamie from Surge scaffolding, who gave his time five workers to help protect the Santa. Do see if you can spot the blow-up Santa and make a donation.
“Thank you ever so much to Westfield Village, 1st Choice Inflatables and to all of our supporters, for your continued support.”
