Firefighters battle home blaze in Hove
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said four fire engines have been called to a blaze at a home in Dyke Road Avenue, Hove.
The property is close to the junction with Dyke Close, the fire service said, and the fire is in the roof of a two-storey property.
An East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “At 12.54pm, we were called to a fire at a residential property on Dyke Road Avenue, Hove.

Hide Ad“We currently have four appliances in attendance from Roedean, Brighton and Hove.
“Please avoid the area as the road will be closed.”
At 3.42pm, the fire service said: “Firefighters have extinguished the fire and have now left the scene.”
