“They would be a great addition to anybody’s home, they are all works of art.”
The Educating Rita and Harry Potter star attracted a large crowd and posed for photos with fans on her visit.
She offered high praise for the ‘beautiful’ elephants, which have added colour and vibrancy to the town over the summer months.

“These will help raise money for all the worthwhile charities, so it is great to be a part of that. It is a joyous thing to do.”
Julie is patron of the Samaritans of Horsham and Crawley and signed the two elephants supporting the charity.
She added: “It is human beings being there for other human beings in their worst moments, and everybody has awful moments.

Charity director Sue Jago said: “We are very grateful to Horsham Publications and Ritchie Phillips for each supplying an elephant for us and to Collyer’s art students for decorating them so beautifully.
“The icing on the cake is to have Julie Walters signing them in person. Needless to say we are thrilled.”
