Village features in ITV1 series
The owner of Merriments Gardens said he was ‘delighted’ to be a part of filming for Alan Titchmarsh’s gardening show, Love Your Garden, which also features a local family.
In Love Your Garden, Alan surprises garden owners who have an inspiring story to tell and whose outdoor space is in desperate need of a transformation.

The first episode of the new series of Love Your Garden was filmed back in April.
The episode will be screened on ITV1 on Tuesday June 25 at 8pm and feature a man whose illness forced him to give up gardening.
Diagnosed two years ago with Motor Neurone Disease, Hurst Green man Malcolm is confined to a wheelchair and unable to be outside doing the gardening that he used to love.

But the sloping garden makes it virtually impossible for Malcolm to get much beyond the end of the ramp which his friends and family bought and installed.
David Weeks, owner of Merriments said: “The garden at Merriments was chosen to feature in Love Your Garden because they wanted a peaceful, beautiful setting to conduct four family interviews.
“We were delighted to have been asked to help.”
