The wait is over for Black Mirror fans as Netflix has confirmed the highly anticipated sixth season is on its way. The sci-fi anthology series is made up of different episodes which explore a twisted, high-tech near-future where humanity’s greatest innovations and darkest instincts collide. The series, written and created by Charlie Brooker, came out with its fifth season four years ago and now, it has been announced the show will return in the summer of 2023. It will tell the story of an average woman who is stunned to discover a global streaming platform has launched a prestige TV drama adaptation of her life. Loch Henry Loch Henry will tell the story of a young couple who travel to a sleepy Scottish town to start work on a genteel nature documentary - but find themselves drawn to a juicy local story involving shocking events of the past. Daniel Portman, Monica Dola and John Hannah will star. Beyond the Sea In Beyond the Sea, viewers will find themselves in an alternative universe back in 1969. In the episode, two men on a perilous high-tech mission wrestle with the consequences of an unimaginable tragedy. The cast includes Aaron Paul, Auden Thornton and Kate Mara. Mazey Day In Mazey Day, a troubled starlet is dogged by invasive paparazzi while dealing with the consequences of a hit-and-run incident. The cast of this episode includes Clara Rugaard, Danny Ramirez and Zazie Beetz Demon 79 Demon 79 is set in Northern England back in 1979. In the episode, a meek sales assistant is told she must commit terrible acts to prevent disaster. Starring Anjana Vasan and Paapa Essiedu.
