Bexhill first team coach Ian Cox is calling on the cricket club to go on a run of wins ahead of a key weekend on two fronts.

The Polegrove-based club will host Goring-by-Sea in a Sussex Cricket League Division Two third versus second clash tomorrow (Saturday) before hosting Premier League neighbours Hastings Priory in round two of the Gray-Nicolls Sussex T20 Cup on Sunday.

“Generally we play well - or better - at home than we do away,” said Cox. “We scored a vital 30 points last weekend against Pulborough and now we can hopefully get some wins under our belt at home.
