The Green Army had a 100 per cent record in league and cup going into the Swindon game while the visitors had lost all their games.
Poor finishing and good goalkeeping meant they had to wait until the 15-minute mark to open the scoring – a tap into an empty net for Ambler after good build-up play.
Just before half-time they got their second, Widdows extending her scoring streak.
