Pirates primed for key month
All four of the Pirates’ scheduled fixtures for the coming month are due to take place on home soil, including the high-flying duo of Haywards Heath Town and Broadbridge Heath.
Weather permitting, Bexhill’s first Sussex County Football League Division Two clash in February is against mid-table Mile Oak tomorrow (Saturday).

Hide AdOak won 4-3 in the reverse fixture on the opening day and administered a 5-0 thrashing in a Parafix Sussex Senior Challenge Cup tie during October.
Fifth-placed Bexhill are nine points outside the three promotion places after last weekend’s match away to Wick & Barnham United was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Bexhill manager Kenny McCreadie said: “February is a big, big month in our season. We’ve got four home games in a row and I’m looking for 12 points - they’re all winnable games.
“The loss to Eastbourne United (on Tuesday, last week) was disappointing. But I’m looking to see the reaction against Mile Oak, especially as we’ve been beaten twice already by them this season.”
Bexhill are hoping to welcome back injured frontman Tristan Jarvis within the next couple of weeks.
