A number of businesses and homes in Bognor Regis briefly lost power this morning, it is reported.

The power cut is believed to have started at about 9.25am and affected 7,537 properties in the area.

It was restored 21 minutes later.

Business owner Paul Wells said: "The whole of the town went out. I'm at work at the moment and the whole lot went down. The street is in complete darkness — it's been out for a good ten to 15 minutes.
