Boost for Lancing micro pub plans
A LAST-MINUTE council u-turn over plans for Lancing’s first micro pub has given real-ale fans something to cheer.
Lancing Parish Council voted to withdraw its objection to plans to turn the old Washeteria in Queensway into a pub serving locally-brewed ales.
The council’s planning committee rejected the idea on May 21, but the decision was overruled by a vote last Wednesday night.
