Snowy had been found by a builder who dropped her off at the surgery. She was microchipped and it was a case of finding her owner from the database.
Mr Morrissey, 48, said: "I was so surprised and have been wondering how she got down there.
"Snowy is quite inquisitive and likes to get into places so she must have got into the back of a van as there is no way she walked.
