Every Spring visitors flock to High Beeches in Handcross to see The Field of Hope, a carpet of full bloom daffodils.
The thousands of daffodils create a meadow visitors can walk through and commemorate loved ones by signing the Book of Remembrance.

On Thursday, October 16 the Aldingbourne Trust Country Centre in Chichester, who develop the potential of people with learning difficulties, planted a thousand daffodil bulbs ready for next year.

When High Beeches Gardens reopens on March 20, 2009 the daffodils will create a magnificent display.

The Field of Hope raises money for Marie Curie Cancer Care, who provide free nursing care to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses.

For every contribution received, another daffodil is planted.
