WORTHING Herald reporter Katherine McGlinchey has been chatting to schoolchildren as part of their project on journalism.
Katherine visited Goldstone Primary School in Hove this morning (Thursday, December 4), to give pupils ideas and tips on how to write news stories.
The students, from year six classes 6H and 6Y, were shown photo galleries and video reports from the Herald's website.
Katherine said: "The children all seemed very interested in how they could become a reporter, and asked lots of questions.
"I'm sure all of them could have a great future in journalism, if they wanted to."
During the morning, they also looked at copies of the paper and talked about the type of stories covered in a local newspaper.
